System Requirements:
iZON requires the free Stem:Connect App, an iPod touch, iPhone or iPad running iOS 4.0 or later and a wireless network.

iZON requires that an iPod touch, iPhone or iPad that supports multitasking (i.e. app background mode) be used for initial setup. These models are: iPod touch 3rd generation or later, iPhone 3GS or later and any iPad. Earlier generations of these models will not allow proper setup from within the Stem:Connect App. Earlier models of these devices are supported to view iZON video provided that they are running iOS 4.2 or later.

For the best experience with iZON, we recommend an 802.11n network and an internet connection with upload speeds of 2 Mbps (384 Kbps required). Local network conditions can adversely affect iZON video performance. For more information, see Networks in the menu to the left.

iZON has a wireless signal that operates on the 2.4 GHz bandwidth. Any other devices in the area where iZON is placed that operate on this bandwidth may provide interference that will affect setup and performance.

Registration for a free Stem Account is required to set up and use iZON. This enables secure local and remote access to the  iZON  video and audio stream. To set up a Stem Account, you must have access to a valid email address. During iZON setup, Stem will send an email to this address with a Validation Code for your Stem Account. This Code is valid for 24 hours and must be entered in the box provided in the app to activate your Account.

Stem:Connect supports multiple iZON on a network. We recommend no more than 200 iZON on a single 802.11n network. Live viewing of video on a local network is unlimited and supports up to 4 iOS devices simultaneously. Remote viewing of any iZON video stream is limited to 5 minutes per session and supports only one iOS device at a time. Sessions may be renewed indefinitely.
